Become the advisor farmers trust

Agriculture is changing — and the advisory role is changing with it.

The advisory role is changing.

Most farmers still manage conventionally.

They rely on advisors to tell them what to do.

That model is beginning to fade.

As agriculture shifts toward regenerative approaches, farmers learn to observe, think, decide for themselves.

During this transition, advisors are still needed.

But the role is no longer about giving advice.

If you feel some discomfort as this shift unfolds, that’s normal.

It’s a sign you’re paying attention.

The regenerative advisor acts as a guide — not an expert with answers.

Teaches principles vs. one-size-fits-all rules.

Sharpens observation of land, livestock, and people.

Asks questions that change how farmers see and think.

Helps farmers learn quickly from feedback.

The regenerative advisor guides people how to think, not what to think.

These are thinking skills.

They apply everywhere.

Advisors trained in Holistic Management can help farmers:

  • Make sound decisions in the face of daunting uncertainty

  • Align financial decisions to support soil health

  • Recognise when regeneration is actually happening

  • Reduce reliance on costly inputs

  • Learn early, adjust calmly, and stay focused

Holistic Management:

A Guide for The Guide

Holistic Management is:

  • A way to stretch your brain to think holistically in the face of complex living systems.

  • A guide for decision-making and planning.

  • A structured approach that releases creativity.

Start by strengthening how you think.

Begin with the Fundamentals of Holistic Management.

It builds the core capability of working with Nature.

This course changes how you see the land — and yourself as part of it. Once you start thinking holistically, you’ll never look at soil, grazing, people, or profit in isolation again.

Since I have read Allan Savory's book in 2018, it was clear to me that Holistic Management is going to be an important part of my work as farm manager and consultant.

In 2021, I have finally decided to take the course to get a better understanding of the framework, to become a better decision maker.

The course with 3LM has exceeded my expectation, thank you Sheila and team!

Savory Institute accreditation, joining a global network of Accredited Professionals.

Accreditation is one expression of holistic capability — not a requirement.
